Keywords: don’t stuff it up

When it comes to creating content for SEO purposes, you need to be careful not to get caught ‘keyword stuffing’.

‘Keyword stuffing’ is when the chosen keywords have been quite blatantly shoehorned into the content of the page, stopping the text from flowing properly when its read.

People often think ‘the more keywords, the better’, but as many SEO course students would tell you that this actually does your rankings more harm than good.

Google do not take kindly to stuffing and will penalise your website if they think you are guilty of this – resulting in your search rankings taking a turn for the worse.
