A blog isn’t an optional extra if you’re on a journalism course

How important is a blog for someone on an NCTJ diploma course?
Well, let’s just say it’s like a photographer not having any photos. You can’t really claim to be serious about journalism without a blog.
Journalism means producing stories, photos and videos, and uploading them to a website.

If you can’t do that for your own site, why would an editor think you can do it for theirs?
Our partner organisation, BST Creative, can design and build you a professional platform to showcase you and your writing skills.
They offer CMP students an exclusive 10% discount on all of their design services. Get in touch today
