SEO is pointless if you have a site for sore eyes

We often remind students on our online SEO courses that good search results have little value if visitors don’t like your website.

That’s why your site’s bounce rate is significant. If people don’t like what they see, they’ll leave.

So your website needs clear, simple design, great content, and small images that load quickly.

It should also be designed for smartphones and tablets. Statistics show that more people access using mobile devices than PCs.

You can check how your site looks on a smartphone on this site

Sites use either adaptive layouts, or responsive layouts (see details). Our site uses adaptive layout, so if someone views it on a smartphone, it automatically rejigs itself to fit their screen.
