Writers wanted for popular online magazine

CultNoise logoCultNoise is seeking versatile journalism students with excellent grammar and flair to join their team of writers.

CN was launched by two of our NCTJ diploma course students and has seen meteoric growth in the past twelve months.

Writers for the site are able to publish on whatever topics they desire, within reason, and must work on their own initiative to publish at least one article per week, though some exceptions can be allowed.

CN are open to writers of all topics, excluding sport, but are particularly interested in writers for the following sections:
  • News
  • Politics and current affairs
  • Gaming
  • Books
  • Travel
  • Fashion
  • Food
  • Health & fitness
  • Beauty
  • Relationships
  • Science
Articles must meet their key demographic: 18-24-year-olds. It is crucial that candidates employ a professional, journalistic tone and avoid blog-like language. Some knowledge of WordPress would be beneficial but not necessary, as full training will be given in the form of a comprehensive welcome pack.

Interested candidates should email two to three writing samples covering a range of their writing interests to;, and include what they feel that they can bring to the magazine.
